Born from a grassroots movement in 1992 by Ruth Ann Belknap with the aim of providing support for victims of domestic violence, OCTHI continues to grow and evolve over 30 years later.
Through multiple programs, OCTHI carries on in its original purpose- but has also expanded services to advocate for individuals and families in crisis as well as assist women in economic need with securing housing and navigating the available support services in Ottawa County.
